CRAFTARTISTS
Is a local Collective of people with disabilities (PWD) who manufacture and sell handcrafts. The Collective also owns and operates a radio station that broadcasts a hand crafted program from Warrnambool in the short wave bands on 5.050Mhtz to a National audience and also broadcasts a stream on the net to an International audience Via. Shoutcast.com.
The station is called Craftartists Cow Radio 5050
The collective inc. is called Craftartists
is run on a not for profit basis and donates proceeds to selected charities. Currently we are tirelessly devoted to the
Royal Flying Service of Australia
who we are raising money for this Royal Service by taking our craftartists business on a road tour around Australia over 2 years visiting all states and collecting for the RFDS in all those places, as well as providing entertainment in radio broadcasts on 7.5 Mhtz short wave for remote and populated areas.
Craftartists produce high quality, low cost products and are committed to giving first class service to its members and the public.
The Collective of PWD is designed to create gainful employment to its members who all work on a voluntary basis.
We welcome submissions of handcrafts for potential sale on approval and offer free advertising and sponsorship in our brochure and quarterly news letter that is also published on our Web site.
